- Aug 28–29Trailblazing New Traditions: Selections from the UTA Fine Art CollectionsThis exhibition is presented in support of the Glass Art Society Conference: Trailblazing New Traditions, and includes a wide variety of techniques used to create and design glass artworks. Selections include works from the Maverick Art Collection, featuring Faculty and Student creations, as well as notable works from the UTA Fine Art Collections. This exhibit examines the evolution that glass media has undergone through the decades and how broadly it can be adapted in its aesthetic qualities and appeal.
