Discover the enchanting world of winds at the UTA Winds Chamber Concert, led by Professor Mike Nguyen. Open to all music enthusiasts, both majors and non-majors, this event offers a unique musical experience that celebrates the artistry of soloists within a group and the enchantment of ensemble performances.This performance is free and open to the public. It takes place in Irons Recital Hall, FA105, located in the South Section of the Fine Arts Building.The doors will open approximately 30 minutes before the performance time.Please be aware that no food or drink, aside from bottled water, is allowed in the recital hall.Parking is available in the West Campus Garage, and ADA parking is available at the meters on Nedderman Drive in front of Texas Hall. The Tenth annual typography exhibition at Gallery 295 on the second floor of the Fine Arts Building showcases the work created by Advanced Typography students during the Spring and Fall semesters of 2025. Organized by Art & Art History Department faculty Gladys Chow, this year's exhibition theme is "i’m all ears." The visual identity for the exhibition that showcases outstanding student typography projects is designed by Erin O'Brien, visual communication design student.Exhibiting Designers include: Roselyn Barbosa-Vizcaino, Jorja De Guzman, Ashley Guzman, Emma Kinser, Kathy Le, Kiara Massey, Jacqueline Nava, Erin O'Brien, Vanhvilay Souriyachack, Tra Tran, Anthony Truong, Arlette Villegas, and Ashley Wetmore.

In celebration of Native American Heritage Month, UTA Special Collections will have a mini-exhibit on display showcasing items in the collection relating to the surrounding Indigenous community. Special Collections invites the UTA community to learn more and view the mini-exhibit during the Central Library’s open hours, starting Nov. 1 and continuing through Nov. 30. The exhibit is located just outside the doors of Special Collections in the Atrium, on the sixth floor of the Central Library.

The McNair Scholars Program is a competitive program funded by the U.S. Department of Education to prepare university juniors and seniors who are low-income, first generation, and/or underrepresented in graduate education for doctoral education.
