Fall Schedule Announced For Women's Golf

ARLINGTON – The UT Arlington women's golf program prepares to return to action as head coach Catherine Matranga announced the 2025 fall schedule Friday.
UTA will play a five-tournament schedule starting with Kansas' Jayhawk Invitational that is set to begin on Sunday, Aug. 24 through Monday, Aug. 25 from Jayhawk Club. This will be the first time the program will compete in the two-day event.

Fall 2025 Schedule:
August 24-25: Jayhawk Invitational | Jayhawk Club | Lawrence, KS
Sept. 23-24: Red Raider Invitational | The Rawls Course | Lubbock, TX
Oct. 13-15: Golf Iconic Classic | NMSU GC | Las Cruces, NM
Oct. 19-21: Diamante Intercollegiate | Diamante CC | Little Rock, Ark.
Oct. 28: Bear Brawl | Ridgewood CC | Waco, TX

Following the fall opener, UTA will take a month break from competition before picking back up with Texas Tech's Red Raider Invitational. The two-day event will take place at The Rawls Course as this will be the first time the Mavs will play on Tech's home turf.

UTA will play three events in October, beginning with New Mexico State's three-day Golf Iconic Classic on Oct. 13. The last time the Mavericks competed in the Aggies' tournament was back in the fall of 2023 where UTA placed 10th.

Next up is Little Rock's Diamante Intercollegiate which will take place Oct. 19-21 from Diamante Country Club. Matranga and the Mavs have competed in the Trojans' tournament nearly every single year since establishing its women's golf program in the fall of 2017.

The Mavericks will round out fall action with Baylor's 36-hole Bear Brawl which is scheduled for Oct. 28 from Ridgewood Country Club.

The spring schedule will be announced at a later time.
