Men’s Golf Wraps Up First Fall Tournament With Some Strong Performances
Chandler, Ariz. – The UT Arlington men's golf team ended their first fall tournament with a strong showing, finishing 12 under par as a team and ninth overall in the team standings from the Whirlwind Golf Club.
The Mavericks' performance was highlighted by a strong finish by freshman Arth Sinha who leaped 12 spots to a tie for fifth place in the individual leaderboard after finishing the day seven under par.
UTA shot under par in all three rounds with their best round coming in the second when they shot seven under par. In round one, the Mavs shot three under par and finished the third round by shooting two under par to wrap up the first fall tournament.
As a team, the Mavs finished with two eagles, 51 birdies and 167 pars.
