MBB: Mavs Ink JUCO Standout Bahsil Laster
ARLINGTON, Texas – UT Arlington men's basketball announced Tuesday that head coach KT Turner has signed Harcum transfer G Bahsil Laster.
The Philadelphia-area native appeared in 30 games at Harcum College last season, averaging 14.7 points per game, 6.4 rebounds per game and 4.1 assists per game in 27.0 minutes per game. He shot 38.4% from three-point distance, while also shooting 46.8% from the field and 82.4% from the charity stripe. Laster was named to the JucoRecuruiting.com Fab 50 Freshman following his freshman year at Harcum.
Laster joins high school signees Jordan Lowery and Amari Reed as well as transfers Marcus Rigsby, Jr. (Troy), Tyran Mason (North Texas), Nathan Ojukwu (Northwest Florida State College), Stoney Hadnot (South Dakota State) and Marcell McCreary (Northern Colorado) as new additions to the Mavs' roster ahead of the 2025-26 season.
