This event is a partnership between our official ring partner, Jostens, and the Office of Alumni Relations. After you purchase your ring, you will receive an invitation with details for that semester’s ceremony.The Official Maverick Ring Ceremony gives you the opportunity to receive your Maverick Ring in the presence of your friends, family, and university dignitaries. This prestigious occasion, held in the University Center, marks a milestone in your academic career.

Go for a spin! This ride is for everyone. Try this class of high intensity, medium impact cardio training in your target heart rate zone. A towel and water are required. The class is limited to 12 participants. 

Mads Barajas, a student at UTA, will take the stage to share a passion for music with the audience. This recital promises a delightful experience of beautiful melodies and impressive musical talent.The performance will be held in Irons Recital Hall, FA105, located in the South Section of the Fine Arts Building.The doors will open approximately 30 minutes before the performance time.Please be aware that no food or drink, aside from bottled water, is allowed in the recital hall.Parking is available in the West Campus Garage, and ADA parking is available at the meters on Nedderman Drive in front of Texas Hall. The Inaugural Annual Juried UTA Student Exhibition at the Arlington Museum of Art is on view from November 8, 2024- January 5, 2025.Juried by the Dallas Contemporary Associate Curator Emily Edwards, this exhibition features works by current graduate and undergraduate students and recent alumni.Featured works are by: Alia Almosawi, Christina Childress, Lisa Clavton, Chris Cravton, Paula Currie, Vy Dang, David Galvan Cruz, Xochitl Garcia, Shang Gou, Lucas Gustafson, Audrey Hatter, Evelyn Kennedy, America Luna, Yasmine Muhammad, Dorian Parkhurst, Michelle Perez, Evelia Sanchez, Phoenix Sanders, Emelie Stenhammar, Lauren Tallman, Emma Valenzuela, Phoenix Warren, and Grace Witkinson.The exhibition opening reception will be Thursday, Nov. 7, 6-8 p.m.

Do you like Space? Do you like Maps? How about maps of space?! UTA Special Collections is proud to present a new exhibition titled Cosmic Cartography . Featuring maps and charts dating from 1548 to 2024, the exhibit explores humanity's desire to explain our understanding of the universe through maps. In the exhibit, you will see maps that explore the model of the universe - from the ancients who believed in an Earth-centered system to Copernicus who put the Sun at the center, and beyond; maps of our Solar System and planetary bodies; and maps that explore Constellations and the Zodiac.Giveaways will be available while supplies last!The exhibit is located on the sixth floor of Central Library in Special Collections. It is open Tuesday through Saturday 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
